Prof. Fatma M. El-Demerdash has completed her Ph.D. at Alexandria University, Egypt, and postdoctoral studies from INRA, Montpellier, France. She acts as a Professor of Biochemistry at the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research, Alexandria University. Member of Egyptian Universities Promotion Committees (Biochemistry committee) for three periods. Teaching and supervising several postgraduate students (Ph.D. and MSc). Her research interests include biochemistry, environmental toxicology, pesticides, heavy metals, nanoparticles, medicinal plants, and antioxidants. Participated in and organized several international conferences. She has several publications that have been cited over 5974 times, and her H-index is 31 and has been serving as an editorial board member and reviewer of several reputed international Journals.
