Abdelilah Lahmar received his Doctorate in Materials Chemistry in 2007 from La Rochelle University (France)/ University Mohamed V (Morocco). Subsequently, he worked in institute of materials and surface technology (IMST) in Kiel (Germany) until 2012. Then he joined the condensed Matter Physics laboratory of the University of Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens (France) as a senior researcher in materials science engineering. In 2017, he obtained his Habilitation (Professorial) thesis in condensed matter physics.
He has a broad research interest covering multiple domains of physics and chemistry, with a particular focus on multifunctional and advanced materials for electronic and energy applications such Multiferroic, Electrocaloric, energy storage, etc. He possesses more than 80 papers published in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to numerous international conferences
