Daolun Li holds a Ph.D. degree in Seepage Mechanics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2007 and a Master degree in Computer Aided Geometric Design from Hefei University of Technology in 1998.
He has research experience on petroleum engineering and computer graphics. He has authored or co-authored more than 70 technical papers, two books and ten invention patents.
