Dr. Ragab Mahani currently working as a Professor of physics of dielectrics, microwave physics, and dielectrics department, physics division, National Research Centre, Cairo, Egypt. I graduated from the University of Helwan at Cairo with a Bachelor of Science in Experimental Physics in May 1991. At the same university, I completed my Master of Science degree in polymer physics in May 1999. Later on, I graduated Ph.D. in the field of polymer physics (2005) at Rostock University, Rostock, Germany. My research work is interested in studying the dynamic molecular behavior of materials (ceramic, glass, water hyacinth plant, urea, ferroelectrics, etc.) by means of Broadband Dielectric Spectrometer (BDS) in order to improve their dielectric properties to be used as electrical capacitors, thermistors, and other electronic devices. I supervised four MSc thesis. In 2010, I have awarded a special prize in physics named Shahata Farag Prize, National Research Centre, Cairo, Egypt. I have published 33 papers in International Scientific Journals in addition to 5 papers are ready for submission. I have attended and contributted in many of international workshopes and conferences in Germany, Netherlands, China, and Egypt. I have shared many of local and innternational projects. I have reviewed many international articles submitted to international journals. I was assigned to the Academy of Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport in 2014 to teach the thermodynamics course.
