SEGHDA Taryètba André Arthur was born on February 19, 1984 in Ouagadougou/ Burkina Faso. He obtained his Baccalauréat Série D in 2003, and went on to study medicine at the University Joseph KI-ZERBO (formerly the University of Ouagadougou). He passed the Ouagadougou hospital internship examination in 2010, enabling him to begin specializing in cardiology and vascular diseases. In December 2015, he graduated as a cardiologist and was assigned to the Gaoua regional hospital, where he worked for 1 year before obtaining a position as a cardiology intern in Clermont Ferrand/France. He refined his training with an Interuniversity Diploma in Arterial Hypertension (Strasbourg), Epidemiology and Statistical Methods (Université Saint Thomas d'Aquin), Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation and Therapeutic Education (Université Paris 5) and an Interuniversity Diploma in Health Science Pedagogy (Université de Bordeaux). He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health and a Master's degree in University Health Science Pedagogy. He currently works as a hospital practitioner at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Bogodogo/Ouagadougou/ Burkina Faso. He has authored and co-authored some thirty scientific articles and oral communications at national and international conferences. He is married with 3 children
