Dr. Muhammad Abddul Rehman Rashid is working as an assistant professor, at Government College University Faisalabad, Pakistan, and is an Associate Professor at Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China. He has been accredited as a Talented Young Scholar by the ministry of science and technology in China and Pakistan. his area of research includes genomics, genetics, biotechnology, and Bioinformatics. He has completed collaborative projects onpopulation genetics, diversity and whole genome analysis. His research focused on gene mapping and Cloning for abiotic/biotic stresses including lodging resistance in rice, drought resistance in wheat and rice, and late blight resistance in potatoes. He worked on various qualitative traits in potatoes and biofortification in wheat rice and potatoes. For this diversified research, he has multiple collaborations within Pakistan and abroad as in China, Turkey, Saudi arabia, USA. His work has been published in well-reputed journals and got reasonable citations.
