Dr. Zhang’s research primarily centers around the development of innovative analytical techniques aimed at identifying newly emerging environmental pollutants, such as neonicotinoids, BP-type UV filters, and bisphenols, among others, in various environmental matrices, foodstuffs, and biological tissues. Additionally, Dr. Zhang endeavors to characterize the pathways through which humans are exposed to these contaminants and to evaluate the relationships between contaminant exposures and health outcomes.
